The multi-award winning Co-operative Group’s HQ, at One Angel Square in Manchester, is one of the most sustainable buildings in Europe and forms the centre piece of NOMA, an £800m mixed-use development scheme.

Designed by 3D Reid and built by BAM Construction, the 15 storey building provides 325,000 sq ft of office space for over 3,500 employees.

Delta Balustrades were not chosen solely on the quality of our products and service we provide, but because we matched the designer’s vision of sustainability for this £100m project.

Appointed by BAM Construction in June 2011, we were contracted to work on over twenty different areas of the site, with the work being phased to increase efficiency of installation.

Large multi-storey buildings require large amounts of balustrades and handrails. Delta Balustrades manufactured and installed 400m of bespoke handrails for the external terraces, around 800m of Orbis™ balustrades on internal staircases and 60m of Vista™ balustrades to the main feature areas.
