As part of a wider development project on the site of a former stagecoach depot in Moss Side, Manchester’s Happi Block incorporates a new scheme for those aged 55 and over (Housing our Ageing Population Panel for Innovation) and Block A provides new build apartments for people of all ages.

Happi Block accommodates a total of 40 individual apartments and the entirety of the scheme itself has been awarded both the Inside Housing Development Award for Best urban development outside London, (2022) and the CIH Northern, Excellence in Community Investment, (2021).

Deltas role in the project consisted of supplying and fitting:
- 820m of ZETA Z600 linear bar railing system externally to all balconies
- ORBIS OS211 top fix stainless steel balustrade system with glass infill to the internal stairs
- A totally bespoke Delta Balustrade vertical bar solution to the Spiral Rotunda Stair
Bowes House marks the final stage of The Depot development, a 5-acre community space designed to house people from every stage of life.
