Delta’s bespoke glass balustrades, compliant with standards required for an airport environment (including blast resistant), ensured the design brief of a ‘bright and airy interior incorporating natural light’ was met at the £1 billion Manchester Airport Terminal 2 Extension.

Our knowledge of the urgency and time constraints of installing within a live environment, enabled Delta’s dedicated team to work with Laing O’Rourke to fit within the complex programme of works.

DBS showed many quality control process through inception – completion, this was supported by creating mock up samples at their factory and utilising DBS quality control procedures when signing off works this resulted in zero snags at completion

The Manchester Airport T2 extension programme was complex, logistically challenging, and unique with having several challenges compared to a normal construction project.

DBS was able to work collaboratively in designing ASIAD compliant products and helped design many bespoke elements of the project for example the immigration gates at late notice.
