Delta Balustrades provided more than 330m of balustrades and 100m of handrail for the £19 million development of a new HQ building for retail giant, Matalan in Knowsley, Merseyside.

The three-storey, 132,000 ft² offices were built on a 15 acre site at Knowsley Industrial Park to house all Matalan’s central office functions.  The building features a long oblong core with three staircases and two additional elevations, positioned at right angles from the main building, each with their own staircase.

Delta provided balustrades from the Orbis range for all five staircases and voids to the first and second floor, with 10mm toughened glass infill panels and Sigma stainless steel handrails.
