American civil engineer, Alfred E Perlman, predicted that ‘learning is what most adults will do for a living in the 21st century’ and, while this is not all we do at Delta Balustrades, it is a significant part of how we operate.

We believe that learning shouldn’t be confined to school days. For us, every day is a learning day and ongoing knowledge development is an integral part of our continuous improvement.

Our learning philosophy not only includes training our whole team across disciplines as diverse as design, compliance and health and safety, it also involves full training programmes for our installation teams. The philosophy also benefits our clients and supply chain, encompassing knowledge sharing and continuous professional development (CPD).

Our learning journey involves employees, clients and suppliers and is not all about classroom-based seminars but combines presentations, video content and knowledge sharing events. In this way, we can push the sphere of learning beyond balustrade design, specification and compliance to related topics such as legislation, due diligence and accreditations.

What this means for our clients and our supply chain partners is that there is an added value layer of engagement that ensures we’re all working together to reduce risk and improve quality across everything we do.
